It's very convenient since it's right in the center, walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and bars; I got a free upgrade to a spacious room with air conditioning, including a living room.

The reasonably priced Portola Hotel & Spa has exceptionally helpful staff who cater to their guests. the hotel's location is absolutely perfect, situated next to a walking trail and only a 10-minute drive from the waterfront street, making it convenient for exploring Monterey.

Enjoyed the king room with a balcony, a nice bath, and a super comfy bed 😊. Being centrally located was a great bonus, especially being so close to downtown.

The updated unit had a comfy bed. the location is marvelous and good, really close to the coast and waterfront in Monterey. - It's about a 2-minute walk from Fisherman's Wharf. - Convenient walking distance to Old Fisherman's Wharf.

The restaurant here was really nice with friendly staff and wonderful restaurants, we both ordered fine dishes. The location was lovely, at a medium distance from Old Fisherman's Wharf. There were a shopping centre and a main shopping street around the hotel.

I had an amazing breakfast with unlimited mimosas here.

Liked the room for the chairs, my bed was very comfy. Terrace, coffee, and a lounge were much appreciated. The service was friendly, including a smooth check-in. By the way, I paid usd 10 per 24 hours to access the web. Its location close to an oceanarium and pubs was favourable and fab.

It boasts marvellous and good location really close to the aquarium/Cannery Row and restaurants, Fisherman's Wharf, the beach, and famous Cannery Row. It is close to Frutti de Mar Grill, where you can have lunch.

The hotel had a very central setting in historic downtown Monterey next to the pier. And it's at a short distance from Old Fisherman's Grotto, ate there once or twice. Newly renovated and fashionable rooms, the views of Monterey harbor were exceptional. Fully equipped bathrooms, that included a bathtub, were cleaned daily.
